                     Optician
Duties and responsibilities: interpreting optical prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists; giving advice to patients on lens type, frames and styling; with further training, fitting contact lenses and giving advice on their care and use.
Salary: With an average salary around $35,710 a year, optician's earnings are slightly higher than those of a phlebotomist ($31,410), but lower than other professions on our list of health care jobs, such as nurse practitioner ($95,070), occupational therapy assistant ($55,250) and dietitian and nutritionist ($56,300).

Education: there are no specific educational requirements for an optician, an associate's or bachelor's degree in optician may offer a competitive advantage. Optician courses educate students in the anatomy and physiology of the human eye, optical fundamentals and refraction. Through clinical training, students also have opportunities to learn about polishing, hand beveling, heat treatment, tinting and fitting glasses.

Reflection; no I do not think this career pathway will not be a good choice for me because I usually like to have my own space and I think that having to do with the eyes I will be invading others space and my space too.i also am not really interested in studies of the eye.
