I think that this is a very powerful statemnt becuse with one good thing it leads to another good thing.on the other hand if somthing bad may happen then other bad things will begin to go into effect.it begins to work a a domino effect.character is a really imortant aspect of life due t the fact that your character is what makes you different.someone with good character is reconized for having a good character rather then someone who has no caracter is ignored .if everyone had a good character yes there woud be alot of [eace but the sad thing is is that people with good character are hard to find now.

When i think about the meaning to this quote i think of having nothing and still knowing wrong from right when you are in your teen years you think that a outfit will be so important but in reality it's the good values that matter. In my opinion they matter the most because no matter what happens if you have your manners and are a well respected person you will get the respect that you deserve.this pretty much says that having good manners mean something because it's the most important thing.good values may be hard to notice or to tech but in the long run help and benefit you and the people around.good values also end up becoming something that people pay very little attention to.good values show and will sometimes make you different from others.someone with good values would normally be the person that is more respected and fun to be around with

This means that to have a good character is way better then to know everything. Although academics and knowing a lot help to have a good character is above all because if you have a bad attitude and you're the smartest you would be nothing due to your character which makes you the person that you are .to have a good character means that you will do everything that you can to help others around you and you will always be in your best possible behavior.over all the person you are is what matters because in the end you show character and everyone shows their different strengths of intelligence.although once in awhile students are labeled by their intelligence they are usually labeled by their character that shows and the attitude used to interact with others in the everyday lifestyle.

I agree with this statement because the way people act is everything. From first impressions to being friends with the person the character is the reason why you know them. Character matters because many begin to assume on how a person may be when first seen. Character in a person may also influence the amount of friends someone had because you really never know  how they want their friend to be. In my opinion if you have a really nice and friendly personality many will chose to be around you because you're nice and it will mean good memories. Lastly it's easier to be nice and have a really good character rather than to be mean and have a bad character and reputation.
