I think this quote pretty much just talks about trustworthiness.this pretty much says that thru it all as long as you have trust it's better than winning. It's better to know that instead of winning and being accused of cheating ,you lost but they know that you told the truth and that you were true to yourself as a good person.you as a person know when you are going to lie and when you will say the truth therefore you know and can make it happen to always tell the truth but the one thing that you can not control in my eyes is that you really never know when you will either win or lose in things. So you never will really know if you are bound to win you will probably only know when you are bound to tell the truth.this quote shows a lot of character in a person because it tells you that you as a person will always know to tell the truth .an example would be playing a game,lf you know that you will try your best and tell the truth and not cheat you are bound to be true but if you plan on cheating then in that case you know that you will be bound win. And winning should be the one thing that you don't know will happen.

This means that to have a good character is way better then to know everything. Although academics and knowing a lot help to have a good character is above all because if you have a bad attitude and you're the smartest you would be nothing due to your character which makes you the person that you are .to have a good character means that you will do everything that you can to help others around you and you will always be in your best possible behavior.over all the person you are is what matters because in the end you show character and everyone shows their different strengths of intelligence.although once in awhile students are labeled by their intelligence they are usually labeled by their character that shows and the attitude used to interact with others in the everyday lifestyle.

i agree with this statement becuse in life there are two ways to go thru the fun enthusiastic way or the boring sad way.you can approach your situations happy and enthusiastic or boring witch will make things boring. and example that i like to use is 'be the life of the party" with your positivity it might lead others to being positive and will make your event happy. positive energy will keep the mood of things fun or boring.for example disneyland is an extremely enthusiastic place, when at disneyland you honestly really can't stay mad. to be enthusiastic will make you and the people around you feel good.it dose mak ehe differece to the people around you.it dose make the difference of how you will enjoythings .even when others are down and fealing sad you can bve the one to feel great when you lift there mood and make then feel happy.to sumarize like every one else may always say there are two different ways to go thru life the funj and  enthusiastic way or the sad depressed boring way. be positive and stay positive to make the world around you vbright and enthusiastic.
